Ministries

The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun!

Let's face it: no parent looks forward to the weekly battle of getting their kids to church. None of us wants church to be a place our kids dread going. And the good news is, we don't think it has to be! It's our hope that by creating fun, exciting environments where kids can experience God in new ways, we'll help you avoid the Sunday morning struggle and make church a place your kids can't wait to get to each week!

NURSERY: We have a nursery for newborns and toddlers as well as classes for preschoolers and elementary school students. All of our programs are designed to lay the foundation for kids to have continued conversations about God and what He's doing in their lives at home. We're excited to partner with parents to lead the children in our church to truly experience God!

  • Wednesday Nights (September-April)

AWANA meets on Wednesday nights (6:30 - 8:00 p.m.) during the school year from September to April. Come join us for our church family dinner at 5:30 in the gym connected to the lobby at the main entrance.

The acrostic AWANA comes from the first letters of "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (II Timothy 2:15). Awana Clubs International is an excellent Bible based program which is active all over the United States and in many foreign countries.

The heart of AWANA is the Gospel message. AWANA strongly emphasizes memorizing and understanding Scripture while offering games and a variety of Bible-related activities. The values and verses learned in AWANA help participants live Christ-honoring lives even at a young age. AWANA is a part of the Children's Ministry of Grace Bible Church.

Nursery

The Grace Bible Church Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers (ages 0-2), a place where our youngest children can experience the love of God by feeling secure, resting, playing, and learning. We create  a safe and nurturing environment for your children so that parents may fully participate in worship, education, and fellowship.

The nursery is located on the first floor, down the hall from the Welcome Center Lobby. On arrival, children are checked in and parents will fill out a form with their contact information and note any allergies their child might have.

All diaper bags and drinking cups must be labeled.
